The beautiful neighborhood of Eagle Rock, California has many "friendly places" to enjoy lunch, an evening out, or celebratory ice cream after a performance or hard day's work. 

Our Favorite Shops

Leanna Lin’s Wonderland - Plushies, blind boxes, Studio Ghibli, Tokidoki, stationery, books, art and lots of little treasures for kids and teens.

Comics VS Toys - Especially good for older kids/teens. Comics, graphic novels, figures and pop-culture collectibles.

The Mighty Luchador - A quirky little shop with wrestling masks, designer toys, comics, art and Mexican pop-culture collectibles.

The Green Bean - A neighborhood kids' resale & toy shop with new toys, gently used kids' items, and small gifts.

Creature’s Plants & Coffee - A really pretty greenhouse-like space where you can get coffee and browse plants, small gifts and home goods.

Parchment Paper - A cute sister shop to Milkfarm with kitchen/home goods, cards, gifts and food-themed items. Great for a little souvenir.

Our Favorite Restaurants

The Oinkster - Fast-casual, substantial portions, and something for picky eaters. It's right on Colorado Blvd. 

Casa Bianca Pizza Pie - An Eagle Rock institution and probably the most quintessential "you have to try this while you're here" restaurant. Thin-crust pizza, pasta, and classic Italian-American food. No reservations, expect a wait at peak times.

CaCao Mexicatessen - Duck carnitas, birria, tacos, enchiladas, mole, etc. It also has a patio and is a longtime Eagle Rock favorite.

Little Beast Restaurant - A nicer dinner option without being stuffy. It's in a charming Craftsman bungalow with a patio.

Spitz Mediterranean Street Food - Casual, affordable and very teen-friendly. Gyros, döner, falafel, bowls and loaded fries, plus a fun patio atmosphere.

Señor Fish - A relaxed neighborhood spot with fish tacos, ceviche, burritos and other Mexican seafood. Outdoor seating.

Max City BBQ - Brisket, ribs, chicken and classic sides like mac & cheese and mashed potatoes. Casual and easy for groups.

Cindy’s - Great for breakfast, lunch or an unfussy dinner. A longstanding Eagle Rock diner dating back to 1948!

Cafes/Breakfast

Penny Oven - Great for coffee, pastries, breakfast sandwiches, pancakes, and a casual breakfast. It also has a kids’ play corner and patio.

Zweet Cafe - A good option for coffee, smoothies, breakfast burritos, sandwiches, and a more relaxed café atmosphere.

Pat & Loraine’s Coffee Shop - Another classic, particularly good for a breakfast before classes. It's inexpensive, casual and known for hearty portions. It's also the diner used for the opening scene of Reservoir Dogs.

Ice Cream

Fosters Freeze - Classic California soft serve, sundaes & shakes. A fun, old-school stop for an after-dinner treat.

Health + Vegan Food Options

Four Cafe - They specialize in salads, bowls, soups and sandwiches, with vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options.

My Vegan - They have everything from kale-quinoa salads and vegetable dishes to pad Thai, curries, rice bowls and familiar kid-friendly dishes like vegan nuggets and orange chicken.

BeeWali’s Vegan AF (amazing food) - Vegan kebabs, shawarma plates, tikka masala and curry fries. It has a casual retro-diner atmosphere.

All About Poke - Everyone can customize their own bowl. There are vegetarian options including tofu.

Acai Craze - Fruit-based bowls and smoothies.
