Who We Are

Welcome to the Los Angeles Suzuki Institute: a family oriented Suzuki music summer program for students, parents and teachers of all ages and levels. We offer a nurturing music experience on the beautiful campus of Occidental College in Los Angeles, CA, located about 25 miles Northeast of Los Angeles International Airport or 10 miles Southeast of Hollywood Burbank Airport.

Our Twinkler Program is for students beinning their journey on their instrument. Our Foundational Program is for beginner students who have graduated the Twinkles. PREP Program prepares intermediate students for the Young Artists program. Young Artists is for advanced students ages 13 and up who are performing at the highest level.

Parents gain inspiration observing their children receive instruction from expert teachers and develop community spending time with fellow parents.  Parent lectures are offered at no extra cost. Teachers take SAA approved teacher training courses from world class Teacher Trainers and observe students studying with guest clinicians.
